Who is the workshop intended for?

The training program “Team Leading 2 – Advanced Skills” is intended for leaders and managers who already have experience in running a team, department or company, or people already possessing basic knowledge and skills from the domain of leadership (described in the training description “Successful Team Leadership”).

Training is an opportunity to check existing competencies, and expand them with specific knowledge and concrete techniques of situational leadership, leadership communication, motivation, coaching and problem-solving in the team.

Training objectives

The aim of the training is to provide the leaders with confidence in existing knowledge and skills, to expand them and raise their confidence in the leadership role through the acquisition of skills required for long-term leadership success. Emphasis is on very specific leadership skills - from delegation, coaching, through the domain of the development of various team members, to comment on the performance and quality motivation of the team.

• Situational leadership – an approach for leading a team and individual
• Styles of behaviour/leadership – what is available to the leaders and where does it go?
• Aspects of employee development and behavioural contact
• Determining the style of leadership appropriate for the circumstances/goals
• Correction of levels of employee preparedness
• Self-assessment and analysis of participants’ results – implications – personal goals and a plan for future work with team members
• Coaching as a management style (competent) of people and development tool
• Structure and meaning of coaching approaches in guiding people in the team
• GROW coaching model – introduction
• Demo-coaching and coaching conversations of the participants
• Team climate and culture – importance and impact on the atmosphere, motivation and business results
• Building independent and responsible employees – systematic development, expectations, a delegation of tasks and quality issues
• Advanced feedback models – 4 steps – multidirectional, daily feedback for the desired change
• Praise as an indispensable development and motivational tool – only when it is well-formed
• Leadership and motivation of “heavy” employees – key guidelines for analysis, communication and behaviour
• Assertive approach and flexible behaviour of the leader – the path to the desired relationship with superiors and subordinates
• Advanced communication skills for leadership and motivation – communication square, communication setup, “yes-set” and the hierarchy of terms
• Setting up own specific goals for leadership work.
