Who is the workshop intended for?

The training program “How to conduct an effective selection interview?” is intended for everyone responsible for the selection processes in an organization.

Training objectives

Participants will be given the structure of a good selection interview, they will learn how to choose appropriate selection criteria and evaluate people by using them, how to avoid making typical mistakes in assessing candidates and how to acquire the skills needed for building relationships. A job interview is the first contact that a candidate has with the organization and it defines future experiences and perceptions. It also often defines the difference between desirable employers and those everyone avoids. The selection interview is the most used method and at the same time, the most sensitive step in the selection process. All organizations use it, but few use it effectively. The reason for that is the employer’s tendency to prefer and choose a candidate that is similar to them, opening up a lot of room for choice based on prejudices, stereotypes and misconceptions. Hence, people often hire the wrong candidates because they cannot notice the right ones.
